After School Clubs
It is our aim at Morningside to provide a varied and enriching after school club programme which encourages children to learn new skills; develop their talents and broaden their horizons. All of our clubs currently run from 3:30pm – 4:30pm (unless stated below) most clubs are free of charge. There is a £2 fee per session for a few clubs. In order for children to be eligible to attend the clubs, payment for the whole term must be made in advance.

Coding Club Year 6 Learn to code using Python with our industry expert Dan.
Dance Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 (3:30pm – 4:45pm) Develop your skills and moves.
Football Club Years 5 and 6 Refine your skills with Coach Josh: footwork, teamwork and fun.
Storytelling Reception and Year 1 Weave magical stories with Zeynep. Create story maps and explore your imagination.
Cookery Years 1 and 2 Make and bake delicious healthy food with Ben.
Drama Club Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 You might just be the next big thing.
Coding Club Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 Learn to code using Scratch with our industry expert Kate.
Gymnastics Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 Learn to stretch, jump and flip
Ballet Years 1 and 2 Encourage your creativity; help build your rhythmical skills.
Football Years 3 and 4 Develop your football skills and teamwork talent with Coach Josh.
Homework All years A space to do your homework with help at hand.
Chess Years 4, 5 and 6 Learn to tell your knights from your rooks. Discover how to create the perfect checkmate.
Art Club Years 4, 5 and 6 Learn new techniques and try out new styles with Miss Newbigin and Abbie.
Sewing Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 Use your creativity and imagination to create sewing sensations.
Phonics Reception and Year 1 Learn the sounds of the alphabet
The Rock Band Learn to drum, play the guitar or rock your head to these amazing sounds
Judo Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 Learn martial art skills and work towards your gradings with Wayne.
Guitar Club Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 Be on the road to rock stardom through weekly jamming sessions with Josh
Knitting Years 4, 5 and 6 Knit, crochet and natter with Gamze. Learn to make a scarf or try out new stitches.
Cookery Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 Help bring out your inner chef and produce wonderful dishes.
Multiskills Years 1 and 2 Improve your skills in all sports and maybe one day you will be an Olympian.
